Apple releases beta versions of Apple Music and Apple TV apps for Windows

Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices beta versions are already available in the Microsoft Store to replace the aging iTunes.

Apple has released three separate apps for Windows: Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices. Previously, the functionality of these services was performed by a single tool — iTunes for Windows. Now, each individual application will be responsible for separate tasks, work faster and look better.

The Apple Music app includes all the functionality of the macOS version except for the lyrics. The Apple TV app also has all the features of the iTunes Store, including the option to broadcast content in 4K HDR.

Applications are already available in the Microsoft Store, but so far in pre-test mode. You can download them from the following links:

But be aware: in the app descriptions, Apple highlights that, as preview versions of these apps, not all features may work as expected. The company also warns that installing any of these apps will prevent iTunes for Windows from opening. All apps have a dark theme but require a Windows 11 operating system version.
