Figma introduces Make Connectors for external integrations

Figma has launched Make Connectors, a new feature that enables direct integration of external tools into Figma Make via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The update allows teams to import documents and tasks from third-party services, refresh data in real time, and even create new entries in connected apps — all without leaving Figma.

Make Connectors streamline workflows across design, product, and engineering teams, offering integrations with platforms such as Notion, Asana, Linear, GitHub, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), and monday.com.

Key Capabilities:

  • Import content from external tools into Figma Make chats, from PRDs in Notion to tasks in Jira or Linear.
  • Refresh data with a single action whenever information in the source tool changes.
  • Two-way interaction: users can enable write access to create or modify records in integrated services.
  • Granular access control: write tools are off by default, and each connector run requires user approval unless configured otherwise.
  • Performance flexibility: individual tools within connectors can be disabled to speed up AI processing.

Users can add a connector through Add context → Add connector in Figma Make. After OAuth authorization, they can enable read/write tools and configure connector run permissions.

Make Connectors are available on Figma’s paid plans and require file edit access. Figma is also collecting requests for new integrations.
