Gmail has introduced a dedicated tab for tracking purchases

Gmail makes tracking online orders easier with the new Purchases tab, available on the web and mobile devices. It collects all purchase-related emails, order confirmations, shipping info, and costs, allowing users to quickly view past and upcoming orders without searching their inbox or carrier websites. Messages for packages arriving within 24 hours still appear at the top of the inbox, and order tracking cards provide quick purchase details.

This feature builds on Gmail’s delivery tracking tools launched in 2022 and, according to Google, will be especially useful during the holiday season. The update is rolling out now to personal Google accounts worldwide.

Additionally, the Promotions tab has been updated: users can now sort promotional emails by relevance and receive tips about upcoming discounts and deals from favorite brands. This feature will appear on mobile devices in the coming weeks.
