Huawei has introduced the Mate XT: the world's first smartphone with a triple-screen fold

Huawei has unveiled its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design. This is the world's first mass-produced phone that folds into three sections. When fully unfolded, the device is just 3.6 mm thick, and when folded, it measures 12.8 mm. According to the manufacturer, the new model features two hinges that are 25% more durable than those found in other foldable devices on the market.

When closed, the Mate XT features a standard 6.4-inch display with FHD+ resolution. When folded halfway, it reveals a larger 7.9-inch screen with a 2K resolution. However, the real "magic" happens when you fully unfold the device, which reveals a spacious 10.2-inch widescreen display with a 3K resolution.

Despite the intricate hinge design, Huawei has managed to incorporate a large battery into the Mate XT. It comes with a 5600 mAh carbon-silicon battery, offering 66W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
