Instagram introduces the "Song on Profile" feature

The new feature announced by Instagram will allow users to add music to their profile. According to screenshots provided by the company, the added song will be displayed in a user's bio.

The track will not play automatically when user visit someone's account. In order for the song to start playing, users will need to click on the "Play" button in the  account. Music can also be paused at any time.

To add a song to your Instagram profile, users need to go to the profile editing page. There, they can find and select a track from a library of licensed music available for Instagram, which is also can be used for videos and posts. After that, users can choose a 30-second portion of the song to add to their profile.
The owner of the account can delete the song or replace it.
