Instagram will enable recommendations reset

This option will be available to users of all ages, including teen accounts. Meta states that it aims to provide a safe and positive experience for everyone, especially teens, ensuring their time on Instagram is age-appropriate and valuable. The company also wants to offer teens new ways to shape their Instagram experience so that it continues to reflect their evolving interests and passions.

Users will be able to clear their recommendations with just a few taps, after which the content will begin to personalize again based on their interactions with accounts and content. Additionally, users will be able to see who they are currently following at the time of the reset and decide whether to unfollow accounts, which will influence future recommendations.
