Meta introduces Vibes, a TikTok-style AI video feed

Meta has introduced Vibes, a new channel in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai, where users can browse and create short AI-generated videos.

According to the company, Vibes is designed as a space for creative experimentation and inspiration. The feed will feature clips from both creators and the community, gradually becoming personalized.

Users can generate videos from scratch, remix what they see, or build on their own content. Tools are available to add music, visual effects, and styles. Videos can be published directly to Vibes, sent via direct messages, or cross-posted to Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels.

Despite the ambitions, user reaction has been skeptical: comments under Zuckerberg’s post included “Nobody wants this” and “What?..” — a contrast with Meta’s earlier calls to fight “unoriginal” content and focus on authentic storytelling.

For the early version, Meta is partnering with Midjourney and Black Forest Labs, while continuing to develop its own AI models. The company has announced plans to expand functionality soon, collaborating with artists and creators to introduce new tools.
