Jony Ive created the logo for the coronation of King Charles III

Former Apple chief designer Jony Ive and his company LoveFrom created the logo for the coronation of King Charles III.

The Coronation Emblem pays tribute to The King’s love of the natural world, depicting the flora of the four nations in the shape of St Edward’s Crown. On it you can see the rose of England, the thistle of Scotland, the daffodil of Wales and the shamrock of Northern Ireland. They will also form part of the crown that will be placed on the King's head on May 6, 2023 in Westminster Abbey.

The emblem will be used for all activities associated with the Coronation including community and national events, publications, retail, and merchandising.

Jony Ive, by the way, is a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. This is not the first work he has done for Charles III. In 2021, he designed the Terra Carta Award, which was established by the then Prince of Wales and is awarded to companies that develop initiatives in the field of ecology.
