Opera Browser Gets AI Features
Opera now has its own AI — new features called AI Prompts have appeared in the browser. They extend the concept of browser hints. Opera will be able to give a summary of any website, joke, explain certain parts of the text, and much more.
Basically, it's a simplified extension of ChatGPT. Now, when you select text in Opera, a special menu opens. It offers you several options: create a short summary of an article or any web page, explain it in simple terms, joke about the selected text, paraphrase/shorten the text. Opera also added quick access to ChatGPT and ChatSonic — they can be deployed directly on the sidebar of the browser.
In addition to the features described above, Opera's AI-based hints help you dive deeper into the topic. You can simply ask the browser to suggest more relevant content based on what you're reading, expand on the topic, etc.
At the moment, new tools can only be tried as part of Early Access.
