Spotify has added comments to podcasts

The Spotify music service adds the ability for users to leave comments on podcasts, expanding the communication between listeners and podcast creators.

Podcast creators will be able to track "likes" and respond to listener comments, while retaining control over which comments are displayed on their page.

By adding comments, Spotify aims to strengthen communities of creators, increase the number of listeners, and attract audiences to podcasts. The new feature also allows Spotify to compete with YouTube in terms of interaction between creators and listeners.

The new comment management feature has already been added to the Spotify for Podcasters web application. The updated version of the Spotify for Podcasters mobile application will be available in a few days.
