YouTube Music is testing AI Generated radio playlists and song recognition feature

YouTube is testing a new feature that uses artificial intelligence to help users quickly create playlists based on their current listening preferences.
Reddit user u/kater_pro has spotted a new feature on YouTube Music, which is currently marked as experimental.

This feature will likely be introduced in the form of a chatbot, where users can request music from a neural network using voice or text commands. The system will analyze these requests and suggest relevant tracks, which can then be added to a playlist.

Using this feature, users can also use ready-made commands for the chatbot. For example, they can tell the bot "Surprise me" or choose a specific music style. After selecting a command or style, the AI will generate a continuous stream of tracks based on this input.

Another new feature on YouTube Music allows users to search for a specific song by singing, humming, or playing it from another device. This feature, which is somewhat similar to Shazam, can be activated by clicking on the wave-shaped icon that appears when you tap the "search" button in the YouTube Music app.

If the song that the user is searching for is available in the YouTube Music library, the system will display the artist and album information for that track.
