YouTube is testing an AI-powered feature called "Brainstorm with Gemini"
YouTube is actively working on integrating Gemini to help users generate video ideas. In the latest video on the Insider channel, owned by Google, the company announced the launch of a new feature called Brainstorm with Gemini. This feature offers suggestions, concepts, trend analytics, and thumbnail ideas based on Google search data. Brainstorm with Gemini is designed to provide a competitive edge in the market.
Participants in the experiment can access YouTube Studio, enter a video idea into the search bar, and receive two options: the Inspiration tool and the "Brainstorm with Gemini" feature. While the Inspiration tool already assists creators in generating video ideas, YouTube aims to test whether the "Brainstorm with Gemini" feature will also be beneficial for them.
By integrating its AI technology into YouTube, Google aims to encourage creators to use its tools over competing platforms like OpenAI's ChatGPT. This strategy is intended to build a loyal user base and maintain a leading position in the AI-powered content creation space.
