The Role
Job Title: Product Designer
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to adapt and shift focus between UX research and UI design based on project needs, contributing effectively to both phases of the product development cycle.
- Lead user interviews, usability tests, and surveys to gather actionable insights that inform design decisions.
- Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centered.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs align with business goals and user needs.
- Use user feedback and analytics to iterate and refine both UX and UI designs, ensuring continuous improvement of the product.
- Contribute to and maintain a growing design system that ensures consistency across the product.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on both user research and visual design.
- Strong ability to conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
- Proficient in Figma with a solid understanding of visual design principles.
- Experience working with or contributing to a design system to maintain consistency and scalability across platforms.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates both UI design and UX research skills, with clear examples of user-centered design solutions.
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with FigJam, Miro or similar
- Experience in agile environments and working closely with development teams to iterate on designs.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar and Mix Panel) to inform design decisions.
Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working closely with stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Ability to leverage analytics and user feedback to make informed design decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Creative in solving design challenges, with an understanding of how to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
