The Role
Job Title: Sr. UX/UI Designer – Corporate Web
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead User-Centered Design Process: Develop and drive a user-centered design process to create intuitive, conversion-optimized user experiences for our website.
- Data-Driven User Research and Analysis: Collaborate with UX researchers and analyze site performance metrics to understand user behavior, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Use quantitative and qualitative data to guide design decisions.
- Design Wireframes and Prototypes: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas, focusing on conversion paths.
- Optimize for Conversion: Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to design user journeys and touchpoints that drive conversions, from landing pages to product pages and CTAs.
- Iterative Testing and Feedback: Conduct A/B testing, usability testing, and gather user feedback to continuously refine the user experience, ensuring designs are optimized for engagement and conversion.
- Establish and Maintain UX Best Practices: Set up UX design guidelines and best practices for consistent, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across the site.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and marketing to bring concepts to life, ensuring the feasibility and integrity of UX designs throughout development.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 10 years of UX design experience, ideally with a focus on digital products in financial services or wealth management.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing data-driven UX design work, particularly for websites focused on user engagement, conversion, and client acquisition.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, along with knowledge of prototyping and usability testing tools.
- Conversion Optimization Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing for conversion, including knowledge of A/B testing, analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar), and an understanding of UX metrics and KPIs.
Skills:
- UX Research Skills: Strong understanding of user research methods, usability testing, and data analysis to inform and validate design decisions.
- Understanding of Wealth Management or Financial Services: Familiarity with financial services and wealth management user needs and regulatory considerations is highly desirable.
- Responsive Design and Accessibility: Strong grasp of responsive design principles and familiarity with WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Collaboration & Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present ideas to stakeholders.
