The Role
Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and coordinate target user groups and carry out interviews or other types of inquiry to help understand user needs
- Collaborate with developers and product teams, to meet technical business objectives for product design
- Translate ideas and concepts into workable wireframes, user task flow diagrams, and functional design specifications
- Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps
- Communicate and present to key stakeholders regarding user needs and design solutions
- Enact UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior
- Perform tests on user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, landing pages and banners
- Understand product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both
- Work with other designers to develop user interfaces for Web-based or other software products
- Collaborate with developers, visual design, product management, and clients
- Code behaviors and functionality for current and future software applications using design specifications.
- May assist with new user interface testing and participate in usability reviews
- Assist in usability research and design
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Career-level professional within field
- Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline
- Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a professional services organization or as a consultant
- Client facing and comfortable with customer conversations
- Creating complex work-flow diagrams
- 2+ years of experience working the software development life cycle (SDLC)
