The Role

Job Title: UX Designer

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct and translate user research to uncover latent needs and inform design decisions
  • Create compelling visual and verbal storytelling to communicate design concepts effectively
  • Clarify ambiguous problem spaces by analyzing user environments, behaviors, and market expectations
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Quality teams to define requirements and deliver focused digital experiences
  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and design excellence throughout the development process
  • Design and iterate prototypes, from conceptual sketches to high-fidelity solutions
  • Test and measure the effectiveness of designs post-launch, making data-driven improvements
  • Support a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, and prototyping software
  • Experience conducting user research, including qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Technical understanding of component-based design and accessibility standards
  • Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment

Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and holistically about user interactions
  • Ability to work iteratively from low-fidelity to high-fidelity prototypes
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
