The Role
Job Title: UX Designer
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience for a healthcare call center software solution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and subject matter experts, to define and prioritize the user experience design within agile backlogs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and optimize the user interface.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual design mockups to communicate design concepts and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure all user interface designs adhere to best practices, standards, and Section 508 accessibility compliance to accommodate users with disabilities.
- Continuously iterate on design solutions based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and analytics.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and maintain a high level of quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Act as a subject matter expert in design-related aspects, offering guidance on design patterns, best practices, and usability improvements.
- Advocate for a user-centric design approach, promoting accessibility, usability, and efficiency in all aspects of the product.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, Agile elaboration, and direct customer interaction.
- Previous experience designing for healthcare applications, especially for call centers, is a strong plus.
- Strong experience in developing and defining user-centric designs for complex software systems.
- Expertise in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design mockups.
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards and best practices for ensuring compliance.
- Experience working within an Agile development environment.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust or other required clearance
