The Role

Job Title:  UX Designer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams on one of our core teams.
  • Own the end-to-end UX, design, and research process — from concept to implementation.
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Create design solutions that balance usability, aesthetics, and business goals.
  • Contribute high-level thinking and strategic input to improve the overall product experience.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all stages of the design process.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with creating and using  prototypes, wireframes, user interviews, data points, etc. to arrive at a solution and convey the vision and design of the product. 
  • Experience using UI mockup tools like UX Figma, Mural and Adobe
  • Experience working with Git Version Control.
  • An understanding of and ability to design 508 compliant solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Skills:

  • Ability to think strategically and frame problems in clear approachable language and writing, directed at both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptability when working with, and in, existing design and UX systems.
  • A consultant mindset that keeps the needs of the client and users at the forefront of all decisions.
  • Capable of taking direction from senior leadership and translating into concrete next steps and actions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
