The Role
Job Title: UX Designer
Job Responsibilities:
- Work within Figma to create design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, visual mocks, and interactive prototypes to communicate how your solution solves user needs and accomplishes set metric goals effectively across multiple aspects of the GFiber business.
- Independently present your work to cross-functional teams, socialize design ideas, and manage stakeholder expectations while prioritizing the user experience perspective in decision-making.
- Understand, utilize, and contribute to the evolution of the GFiber design system and visual language, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers throughout all stages of product development to ensure designs are feasible, aligned with business goals, and deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing your design process and final outputs.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), building typography stacks and style guides.
- Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, or working with a user research team.
- Experience designing across platforms (web, mobile apps, etc.) with a solid understanding of responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with motion design tools like After Effects, Principle, or similar, to create animations and micro-interactions that elevate user engagement.
- Experience with conversion-driven design, including crafting visuals and layouts optimized for user acquisition, engagement, and retention, as well as designing for performance marketing and ads.
- Familiarity with front-end development languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (no coding required, but understanding technical constraints).
Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with product managers, engineers and designers.
