We need to support our U.S. customers with simple and cohesive experiences on KFC.com and the app. We are seeking out a UX Designer who can bring fresh ideas to the table and help make the customer experience more pleasant and intuitive for all users. You’ll partner with great team members and agencies here to support you, the KFC brand, our guests, and the digital spaces we are creating for them.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Be able to apply creative problem-solving and strategic thinking to complex design problems.
  • Create high-quality mocks and interactive prototypes to communicate your work. Use user research and data to inform your reasonings
  • Define interactions and visual specifications for developer handoff.
  • Inspire the entire team and our internal partners by bringing new ideas to the table and defining next-generation interfaces
  • Must be a strong communicator, effectively presenting designs, UX rationale, and trade-offs, and be receptive to feedback.
  • Work closely with product owners and engineering leads in the development of features, gathering feedback and iterating quickly.
  • Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting cross-functionally. Be able to articulate design rationale and goals precisely.
  • Understand technical requirements and how changes impact real-life customers.
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be open to change.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thorough with the ability to multi-task.
  • Provide and receive mentorship to and from other members of the team.
  • Create a unified, cohesive set of UX and visual guidelines for KFC’s mobile & web products


Skills and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years as a UX designer, interactive designer, instructional designer, UI designer, or similar role.
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating your design process and thinking.
  • Mastery of creative and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe CC, etc).
  • 2+ years of experience working on design systems.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, UX best practices, and design heuristics.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and applying those principles in design.
  • Accountable and self-disciplined with a “Get Stuff Done” approach to their work.
