The AI-powered Copilot feature entered beta testing phase at the end of last month. It will be capable of transforming handwritten notes into editable text for easy editing and sharing.

Users will be able to summarize notes taken with a stylus, ask questions, and create lists based on the text. Additionally, Copilot can convert handwritten notes into typed text for more convenient editing and sharing with others.

Moreover, this feature can decipher messy handwriting. An editor from Verge asked Copilot to rewrite a paragraph of handwritten notes, and the chatbot successfully handled the task. A journalist made a handwritten to-do list that Copilot transformed into a typed list in just a few seconds.

This update will be available to current subscribers of Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Copilot Pro users.
