Google has introduced updates to the "Help Me Write" feature in Gmail. With new features supported by Gemini, paid Gmail users can now easily write, edit, and change the tone of their emails.

Gemini offers a range of features, including "Formalize", "Elaborate", "Polish" and "Shorten" which help users to perfect their letters and achieve the desired style.

The function works as follows: on mobile devices, if the draft of an email is empty, a "Help me write" label appears in the body of the email. When selected, all options for the function open. If the draft contains more than 12 words, a "Refine my draft" label appears under the email contents, with options such as "Polish", "Refine", "Shorter", or "Formalize". If the user selects one of these options, a menu appears with more specific choices. Alternatively, the user can choose to "Write a new draft".
