Google releases AI-powered video presentation app
Google Vids is currently available to paid Workspace Labs subscribers. From 2026, some existing AI functions in Vids will be limited.
Google is launching a new video-creation tool Vids, which uses Gemini AI to help users create professional video presentations.
The Vids app can create a presentation based on a user's description, with the option to edit the presentation later. It can also generate a script and create an AI voiceover for the presentation, without the need to record user's own voice.
With Google Vids users can create a variety of videos for different purposes. Whether it's for marketing, education, personal projects, or presentations, Google Vids provides the ability to bring creative ideas to life. Users can use it to make a story, teach someone or simply provide entertainment video.
Users can also start creating a presentation manually by choosing one of the many available templates. In addition, the app offers access to a free library of images and videos that can be used to enhance and personalize the materials.
The app supports multiple languages, but the AI features, such as "Help me create" and a teleprompter for reading, are currently only available in English.
