Instagram unveils a new video editing app Edits

The app is currently available for pre-order in the App Store in the United States and is expected to be released next month. The CEO of Instagram, has also confirmed that an Android version will be available "soon".

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri has recently announced a new video editing app called Edits.

The Edits app, similar to the popular CupCut video editor. According to Mosseri, the Edits will include a variety of creative tools, including sections for inspiration and idea generation, a library of popular songs, and a camera feature. Users will also be able to create drafts of their projects and share them with friends or collaborators through the Edits platform.

Edits will allow users to record videos up to 10 minutes in length, and the resolution of videos uploaded to Instagram will be 1080 pixels. Content creators will have access to statistics on their uploaded videos, and analytics on engagement with their feed within the app.
