Now you can schedule Instagram posts directly in the app without connecting any third-party services.

It happened, Instagram gave users the opportunity to schedule the publication of posts. The new feature for scheduling posts and videos will be especially useful for social media managers. They've certainly relied on third-party tools for a long time, but it's clear that the built-in tool makes life a lot easier.

The first news was shared by Matt Navarra (via twitter account @WFBrother). He posted a screenshot showing how the new feature works.

To schedule a post, Instagram users will need to go to advanced settings when creating a new post or video and turn on the "Schedule this post" toggle to select a time and date.

You can see scheduled posts in the "Scheduled Content" section, available in the hamburger menu. This section also allows you to reschedule content if necessary.

Also, according to the latest tweet from Alessandro Paluzzi, leaker and mobile developer, Instagram is now working on allowing its audience to add the song to their profile. Unexpected, right?

The ability to add music can be accessed through the user page section. There, the user will be able to see the item "add a song to your profile." After adding the link, the saved song will be displayed in the user's bio under the links section. So far without the ability to play music.

The function has a bit of nostalgia for the 2000s. Maybe soon we will be able to express ourselves again through a profile song, but there is also a chance that such a feature will not receive a global release.
