Microsoft has released the updated Office 2024 suite, which includes enhanced versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook.

Microsoft has introduced Office 2024, a new suite designed for users who prefer not to subscribe to Microsoft 365. This updated version features enhancements to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook.

Compared to the 2021 version, Office 2024 includes numerous improvements, such as a new Fluent Design style, support for the ODF format, enhanced accessibility for users with disabilities, and the ability to insert photos from smartphones.

Excel now supports dynamic charts with dynamic arrays, along with 14 new functions for working with text and arrays. Users can also add images to tables via copy and paste or by using the IMAGE function to retrieve pictures from the internet. Overall performance has been significantly improved.

PowerPoint has gained new features, including the ability to insert live camera feeds into slides and record entire presentations or individual slides with audio, gestures, and video. Subtitles can now be added to audio and video content.

Outlook in Office 2024 features improved search capabilities and enhanced tools for organizing and managing meetings. In addition to its new design and improved performance, Word can now recover recent files and documents in case of unexpected shutdowns.

Office 2024 is available for Windows 10 and 11, as well as the three latest versions of macOS. The Office Home 2024 version, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, is priced at $149. The Office Home & Business 2024 version, which includes Outlook and commercial use of all applications, costs $249.
