Pepsi Updates Its Logo for the First Time in 15 Years
Pepsi has unveiled a new logo in honor of the brand's 125th anniversary.
Pepsi has unveiled a new logo in honor of the brand's 125th anniversary. The company decided to bring back the dark shades and bold type from the 90s. This is the first logo rebranding in 15 years.
The main focus of the advertising strategy will now be on the Zero line of drinks. In this way, Pepsi plans to draw attention to the problem of sugar consumption.
In North America, drinks with the new logo will appear in the fall of 2023, and in other markets during 2024.
“This lowercase italicized font and the blue color is a bit muted… It doesn’t exude the confidence and energy that the brand actually represents,” said Pepsi marketing director Todd Kaplan of the old version of the logo.
Meanwhile, Twitter users are nostalgic for old Pepsi commercials.
