The jury of the world’s leading typography organization The Type Directors Club has announced the list of winners from 42 countries in its prestigious TDC69 Competition. This list includes the Ukrainian font "Rivne".
"Rivne" was created by designer Oleksandra Korchevska-Tsekhosh in collaboration with Kyrylo Tkachov. They, as well as all winners of the TDC69 competition, received a Certificate of Print Excellence, which confirms that their work is one of the best in the world.
"Rivne" will appear in the annual TDC The World's Best Typography 2023, and will also be shown at exhibitions in 8 countries: USA, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Poland, South Korea, Spain and Taiwan.
"I perceive this award as one of the fronts of the struggle and I am glad that we are slowly breaking through the walls and Ukrainian design will be seen abroad," says Oleksandra Korchevska.
