Adobe has released a new version of its Firefly generative text-to-image AI model, and has updated its web app, which now includes all of Adobe's generative models and AI from OpenAI and Google. Adobe is also working on the Firefly mobile app.

According to Adobe, the new Firefly Image Model 4 outperforms previous models in terms of image quality, query processing speed, and the ability to customize generated content. The new model allows users to create high-resolution images with up to 2K, providing more options for style, format, size, and camera angle.

There is also another version called Image Model 4 Ultra, which can create more complex and detailed images.

The updated app also includes other image generation models, such as GPT by OpenAI, Imagen 3, Veo 2 by Google, and Flux 1.1 Pro. Users can choose between these tools based on their preferences.

Earlier, Adobe has released the Firefly AI model, which is designed to create vector graphics. This model can generate editable vector illustrations and variants of logos and patterns. All new Adobe AI models are now available in the updated Firefly web application.

The company also launched Firefly Boards, a new AI-powered collaborative FigJam-style generative mood board. It was showcased at the Adobe Max event in October under the name "Project Concept". Firefly Boards allows users to create, import, mix images, and collaborate with other users. It is available within the Firefly web app.

Firefly AI video model now became available to everyone. It allows users to create videos from a text description or image. Users can specify the initial and final frames of the video, as well as customize the animation style elements.
