Apple is introducing Apple Maps beta on the web.
In a recent press release, the company announced that users can now access the service online through Safari and Chrome on Mac and iPad, as well as through Chrome and Edge on Windows PCs.

Through the web version, users can plan car and walking routes, see ratings of establishments and read information about them. They can also go to the website to order food or purchase a ticket. All features that are available in the Apple Maps app are saved in the web version. Apple also plans to add more features to the web version in the coming months, including the 360-degree "Look Around" panoramic view.

By expanding the availability of Apple Maps, the company hopes to reach more users and challenge Google Maps, which has long been the go-to place for maps online.

Currently, maps are available only in English, but Apple intends to provide support for additional languages, browsers, and platforms in the future.
