Instagram now allows users to share their profile using a digital card. The two-sided card displays a QR code with their Instagram username, and other profile information such as a profile photo and bio.

Users can also choose a song to play when someone open the digital card and change the background image.

Instagram says the new cards will help creators connect with brands by providing a simple and accessible description of who they are. This can also be used to share information with friends and easier sharing in channels and groups.

Users can view their digital profile card by navigating to their Instagram account and selecting the "Share Profile" option. To edit the various elements of their profile card, they can select the pencil icon. Using the options at the bottom of the screen, users can share their profile with friends or publish it on other platforms. Users can also add the card to their stories with “Add to Story” feature and create a two-sided rotating card that can be customized.
