Microsoft is introducing a new feature to its Edge browser that uses artificial intelligence to help users find previously visited websites. The feature uses phrases, synonyms, and even typos to match websites based on the name that the user is searching for. Upon request, the AI will be able to find the desired website even if the user uses a different word or misspells the name of the website in the search bar.

After enabling the feature, websites visited by the user will begin to appear in the extended search results in the browser history.

Microsoft has also added a media center to Edge, which allows users to manage multiple media sources from different websites. This includes quick access to picture-in-picture mode and the ability to control music, videos, or other sounds that are playing within Edge.

The update is already available in beta versions of Edge and works on a local model that is trained directly on the user's device. The browsing history is not transferred to Microsoft servers.
