ChatGPT now has a new feature called "Tasks", which allows users to schedule tasks and set reminders.

With the new feature, users can receive daily reminders of their routine activities or a daily weather forecast at a specified time, such as in the morning. These reminders can be for repetitive tasks or one-time events, and users can set the frequency of these reminders themselves.

To use this feature, users need to select "ChatGPT 4o with scheduled tasks" from the model selector.

Users can manage tasks directly within the chat or through the "Tasks" section/
Tasks work with all versions of ChatGPT and send notifications through desktop, web, and mobile devices. However, users can edit or add tasks only through the web version of ChatGPT in their profile menu. There is also a limit of 10 active tasks that can be running at the same time.

The Tasks feature is currently undergoing beta testing and is only available to Chat GT Plus, Team, and Pro users. OpenAI has not specified when this feature will be made available to free users. However, it is likely that Tasks will continue to be a paid feature.
