Shadowban on Instagram Will Become Transparent
No more secrets. Instagram will now tell you if you've been shadow-banned and why.

Instagram has started rolling out a new update to all users. New transparency tools allow you to see directly in your account status which of your posts have been excluded from recommendations and how to fix it.
On Twitter, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri shared the news that Instagram's "Account Status" section now allows users with professional accounts to see if their content can be recommended to other users.
If it's not, content makers can see exactly which of their posts (and in what ways) are contrary to Instagram guidelines and make changes. Mosseri also mentioned the possibility of appealing the decision "so our review team can take another look as quickly as possible."

We're expanding Account Status so professional accounts can understand if their content may be eligible to be recommended to non-followers.
Here’s how to get to it: Profile -> Menu -> Settings -> Account -> Account Status pic.twitter.com/QbxjQF06vR
In addition, Instagram promised to soon roll out the functionality to check your entire account for a shadowban or a decrease in coverage. The news should especially please all content makers and social media managers. No more guesswork. Now it will be much easier to analyze your account and identify problems.
