Telegram releases the 2.0 update for its mini-apps
The Telegram team announces this is the biggest update in the history of mini-apps. Thanks to these new features, mini-apps have become more attractive, user-friendly, and have a more independent interface.
Telegram introduces mini-apps 2.0 update, with a full-screen mode, home screen icons, the ability to share media files directly from mini-apps and other useful features.
Full-screen mode
The full-screen viewing mode has been added in vertical and horizontal screen orientations. Users can enable full-screen mode from the menu when opening the mini-app.

Motion device tracking
Mini-apps can now receive information about the position and movement of the device. This feature improves control in games and is useful for creating projects in virtual reality.

App icons on the home screen
Users can easily add icons for their favorite games and apps on the device's home screen. So they can quickly access them without having to open Telegram.

Media file sharing
Users can now send media files directly to any chat from the mini-app, including referral codes, generated images, screenshots, and other files.

Among the new features, the ability to share a user's location directly from the mini-app, use the collected stars to send gifts to other users, and Telegram Premium subscribers can set emoji statuses using the mini-app.
