Telegram unveils new features: Browser, Mini Apps, and beyond

In latest update, Telegram introduces a new in-app browser with multi-tab support, enabling access to Web3 for nearly a billion users. The update also includes a Mini App Store featuring a new category of mini applications and introduces the capability to gift Stars to friends.

Video messages now include a front flash feature to enhance visibility by illuminating the screen with additional light during recordings in low-light conditions.

Users can now enhance their stories by integrating a weather widget, allowing them to showcase current weather conditions in their photos and videos, whether capturing sunny selfies or scenes from ski slopes.

The widget adjusts seamlessly between Celsius and Fahrenheit based on the viewer’s device settings, eliminating the need for manual selection. During clear nights, it also displays the current moon phase.

Additionally, users can enrich their stories further by incorporating music, links, or location details directly from the 'Stickers' section.

When posting a video story to your profile, you have the option to select a specific frame to serve as the cover photo.
