Twitch Introducing Video Stories

The main idea behind Stories feature is to allow streamers to share their life moments directly through the app, without the need to switch to other social media platforms

Twitch has announced a new way for content creators to engage with the audience. Streamers can now record 60-second videos directly in the Twitch mobile app or download previously recorded videos from their device's camera roll.

Twitch is positioning the new feature as a way for streamers to be closer to viewers without using a streaming set-up. Streamers can share real-life content without using Instagram or other third-party apps.

In addition to sharing life content, video Stories also provides a variety of tools for interactive communication with viewers. Streamers can ask questions, conduct polls, create personalized video messages using the "@mentions" feature, announce upcoming broadcasts, and inform viewers about changes to the streaming schedule.

A nice addition is that the video Stories feature will be available not only on the app, but also on the web version of Twitch, as many users prefer to view content via the web.
