YouTube is testing Dream Track, an AI feature that lets creators remix licensed songs in Shorts.
YouTube is testing a new feature called Dream Track, which will allow creators to use artificial intelligence to remix licensed songs in their Shorts.
Video creators will be able to modify the "mood" or genre of a song using text prompts. The maximum length of these tracks will be 30 seconds.
YouTube has stated that the Dream Track experiment enables creators to generate songs using AI-generated voices of artists who have agreed to participate, including Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, and John Legend. However, it is still unclear which record labels are participating in this feature.
