YouTube TV has announced the deployment of its Multiview functionality for iPhone and iPad users. However, the rollout for Android devices is currently scheduled for a later date.

In the past week, there has been an increased user observation of Multiview functionality appearing within the YouTube TV application for iPhone devices. This feature, previously launched on televisions in 2023, allows users to display and simultaneously view up to four separate video channels. A recent update to Multiview has further enhanced its customization options, expanding the range of channel combinations available for display.

The Multiview functionality on iPhone and iPad devices is accessible from the "Home" tab within the application. However, it is currently limited to compatibility with a select group of games.

To utilize the Multiview functionality for live viewing of March Madness® games, users should navigate to the "Home" tab within the application. Subsequently, they should select the desired live game and choose the "Watch in Multiview" option. Following this selection, users can proceed with constructing their personalized Multiview layout.

Android Availability:

The company has not yet confirmed a specific launch date for the Multiview functionality on Android devices. However, they anticipate its availability within the next few months.
