Zoom will allow a digital avatar to communicate with colleagues on your behalf
Custom avatars will be available early next year as part of the new Zoom AI Companion add-on.
Zoom announced new artificial intelligence features for its platform at the Zoomtopia event and declared that it will soon allow users to create AI avatars that can be used to send quick messages to their teams.
To create a digital avatar, users will need to record a video of yourself, then Zoom artificial intelligence will use this video as a template to create an avatar that resembles the user
Users can also write a message that will be transmitted through a digital avatar. The artificial intelligence will process the message and add it to the generated video. This feature will only work with the Zoom clip function and allows users to record short videos for their colleagues and friends.
Custom avatars will be available early next year as part of the new Zoom AI Companion add-on. This add-on will cost an extra $12 per month and will allow users to create their own unique avatar for their Zoom meetings.
