Google is testing a new service called Vids, which allows users to create impressive video presentations. Vids utilizes artificial intelligence Gemini, enabling the creation of presentations based on user input.

The service automatically selects free videos from its collection, writes a script, and narrates the presentation. Afterward, the user can edit the video: change the order of slides, add or replace effects and transitions, remove backgrounds from images, and more.

It's important to note that Vids does not create videos from scratch like Sora from OpenAI does. Instead, it offers ready-made templates and assists users in creating presentations based on those templates.

Google Vids is currently available for trial only within the Workspace Labs program, designed for companies. There's no information yet on when the full launch will take place.
