Adobe introduces AI agent in Photoshop
Adobe to introduce smart AI agent in Photoshop for image editing automation.

This month at the MAX London conference, Adobe will unveil a new feature in Photoshop – an updated Actions panel, which will serve as the foundation for the company’s first creative agent.
This agent will be able to analyze images and suggest edits such as suggesting removing people from the background or adding depth of field through blurring – and perform those actions with a single click. It builds on existing tools like Distraction Removal, which automatically removes wires, poles, and background people.

The new Actions panel will allow users to trigger more than 1,000 actions using natural language. But Adobe’s goal goes beyond just speeding up the workflow – the agent is designed to become a partner in learning, streamlining processes, and simplifying repetitive tasks, all while maintaining the user’s creative freedom.
This is part of Adobe’s broader vision to build the most creator-friendly approach to AI in the creative industry.
