At its annual Figma Config 2025 event, Figma announced a major expansion of its creative software ecosystem, unveiling four new tools designed to eliminate the need for third-party apps and support the entire product design lifecycle.

The new additions — Figma Sites, Figma Make, Figma Buzz, and Figma Draw — complement existing products like Figma Design, FigJam, and Slides, forming a unified environment for designers, developers, and marketers.

Figma Sites is a new website builder integrated directly with Figma Design. It allows users to transform design mockups into fully functional websites using ready-made layouts, content blocks, and animations. Users can also generate interaction code via AI prompts, simply by describing effects in natural language. The tool is now in beta for paid subscribers, and a built-in CMS for content management — allowing text and content edits directly within Figma — will be available later this year.

Figma Make is an AI-powered coding assistant built on Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 model. It helps users turn design files or text prompts into interactive prototypes and working applications. Currently in beta, Figma Make will soon offer integration with third-party tools and design systems. Access is available to paid subscribers.

Figma Buzz is a marketing-focused design tool, similar to Canva, that enables teams to create branded templates for emails, social media posts, ads, and more. With built-in AI for image generation and spreadsheet support for batch creation of graphics, Buzz is free across all plans.

Figma Draw is a vector design editor akin to a simplified version of Adobe Illustrator. It allows users to create and customize scalable illustrations and logos directly within Figma Design. Draw is now available to all users, with certain features integrated into Sites, Slides, and Buzz. Free for all plans.

Grid is an advanced version of Auto Layout that introduces CSS Grid–like layout capabilities directly into Figma. Design elements now intelligently adapt to frame resizing, and configuring column sizes, gaps, and spacing has become more flexible and intuitive than ever.

These new tools mark a significant step toward Figma’s goal of becoming a true all-in-one platform where projects can move seamlessly from idea to launch — without leaving Figma.
