Yesterday Figma released 10 new very interesting features. Among them: sections, music for the timer, text formatting in FigJam and the ability to leave comments from mobile, and tablets. Read about all the updates below.

Sections

Perhaps the most interesting is Sections — a new convenient tool for organizing layers. The appearance of this feature will obviously please a lot of people. Now frames and individual layers can be combined into sections. This will help you structure your work even better.

Music, voting and text formatting in FigJam

Three nice features appeared in FigJam: the ability to set music for the timer, anonymous voting with stickers and text formatting.

Other updates

Figma Chrome extension: Now you can attach Figma and FigJam files to any Google Calendar event with the Figma Chrome extension.

Microsoft Teams and Zoom: you can collaborate on files directly in Microsoft Teams and Zoom (coming soon).

New FigJam templates: Figma has added many FigJam templates.

Tables: Figma also announced that it will be adding tables soon.
