New NotchNook app brings Dynamic Island to MacBook
New NotchNook app turns MacBook Air and MacBook Pro screen notch into Dynamic Island, similar to iPhone.
NotchNook, a new application for MacBook, expands at the top of the screen to create an area with essential multimedia controls and customizable widgets. It also includes a Tray tab where files or applications can be stored. The application supports usage across multiple monitors simultaneously and can be hidden from screenshots by enabling the option to ignore the notch when capturing the screen.

To open the "island," you can click directly on the notch or drag it down on the trackpad. Additionally, you can configure it to automatically expand when the cursor is hovered over it.
NotchNook works on Mac computers both with and without a screen notch. In the latter case, you can configure it to simulate the notch or simply display a small black strip. The application is still in development and will receive more features in the future. For example, it may include the ability to archive or unarchive files by dragging them into the app.
