Snapchat introduces AI lenses for premium subscription users
According to Snapchat, the company plans to add new AI lenses every week. These will be available only to Platinum subscribers.
Snapchat has introduced "AI Video Lenses", created using generative AI technology, which allows users to take photos and videos with live AR effects.
Thanks to the introduction of artificial intelligence, content with lenses will look even more realistic and true to life. Snapchat claims that its new AI video lenses use "in-house built generative video model."
Snapchat announces that, to start with, there will be three filters featuring a fox and a raccoon that interact with the person in the photo. Also, there is a zoom-out effect-filter, revealing the person holding a bouquet of flowers.
