YouTube has announced a new Primetime Channels feature that will allow you to watch movies and TV shows from third-party streaming services. Partnership agreements have already been signed with Paramount +, Showtime and 30 other services.

These are not YouTube's first steps towards paid subscription services. YouTube Premium (a paid subscription with additional features) and YouTube TV (a TV streaming service) are already available on the platform.

To potentially bring even more viewers to the platform, Google is launching Primetime Channels, a hub for other TV services like Paramount+ and Showtime. Thus, users will have a single store for all streaming services.
