Microsoft unveils Microsoft 365 Copilot, a GPT-4 powered neural network embedded in Office apps such as Word and Excel. This AI-powered tool for Microsoft 365 apps and services will help you create documents, emails, presentations, and more.

Microsoft 365 Copilot, powered by GPT-4, offers users a wide range of capabilities. For example, the ability to generate new Word documents based on existing ones, including even a text for presenting and defending their thesis. In addition, the network can eliminate the need for complex formulas in Excel by enabling users to perform tasks with plain text commands. And finally, the generation of presentations in PowerPoint, which is already creating a buzz on the Internet.

Copilot appears in the sidebar as a chatbot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. With it, you can create text in Word based on other files, and then ask the chatbot to make a presentation in PowerPoint based on the created text.

In Microsoft Teams, Copilot can record meetings, remind you of what you missed if you joined late, or even summarize what you heard throughout the meeting.

Earlier, OpenAI introduced a new version of the AI language model called GPT-4, which is used in the Bing search engine. Copilot also uses the new GPT-4.

GPT-4 can now work not only with text, but also with images. It will be able to analyze drawings and generate code from them, explain memes, and much more.

In the coming months, all this and more will become available to every Windows user who uses Office applications (most likely at an additional cost).
